Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway is an expressway connecting Ho Chi Minh City with Dong Nai Province, with the starting point of the route being An Hoa intersection, in District 2, Ho Chi Minh City and the starting point of the route. The end is Dau Giay intersection, Thong Nhat district, Dong Nai province. The section Long Thanh - Dau Giay belongs to the North - South expressway system.

Construction: The expressway project started construction on October 3, 2009 with a scale of 4 lanes with a total length of 55,7 km.

The investor is Vietnam Expressway Development Investment Company (VEC) with a total investment of VND 20.630 billion, of which phase 1 - only builds four lanes on the whole route, with an investment capital of 9.890 billion from ODA loans. The project is funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

Traffic: About 20km out of a total of 55km of the expressway, the section from Ring Road 2 (in District 9) to National Highway 51 in Dong Nai Province was opened to traffic on January 2, 2014.

The entire highway opened to traffic on February 8, 2015, when the Long Thanh - Dau Giay section was completed.
