EPC contractor: Doosan contractor complex (Korea) - Mitsubishi Corporation (Japan) - Thai Binh Duong Group Joint Stock Company, Power Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company 2 Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant is one of the urgent projects to contribute to solving the power shortage for the South after 2018 of the Government, invested by EVN, EVNGENCO 3 implemented Project Management Consulting with represented by the Management Board of Vinh Tan Thermal Power Project, with a total investment of over VND 36.000 billion, a total installed capacity of 1.200 MW (2x600MW), an electricity output of about 7,2 billion kWh/year. This project has an important meaning, marking a new development step of Vietnam's electricity industry with some outstanding features such as the first large-scale use of coal using supercritical steam parameters built in Vietnam. Vietnam, high localization rate, the first large-scale thermal power plant project led by a Vietnamese consultant in the design.
